Why IV Infusion Therapy?

Intravenous (IV) Infusion therapy, also referred to as IV Vitamin therapy is a simple procedure that provides essential nutrients directly into the bloodstream. From there, these nutrients are available to every cell in the body.

Why would someone consider IV Vitamin therapy?

Many people that are experiencing chronic fatigue, depression, fibromyalgia, sinus, chronic viral infections plus many other symptoms may be nutrient deficient.

Nutrient deficiencies can happen for a multitude of reasons, from a nutrient depleted diet to gastrointestinal issues that affect nutrient absorption.

These issues can be bypassed by simply providing the nutrients straight into the bloodstream.

Benefits of Amino Acid IV Therapy

Benefits of Amino Acids

No matter your body type or level of activity, keeping a steady supply of amino acids can provide for optimal health. Those who find themselves regularly feeling exhausted from their daily routine should consider trying amino acid IV therapy. Amino acids, both directly and indirectly, affect how your body functions. For example, they may not now give you added energy, but they will help achieve maximum sleep quality and mitigate stress management, helping your body take on each day at full tilt.

Benefits of Amino Acids

Amino acid IV therapy is especially beneficial for high-level athletes. The combination of vitamins and amino acids can help enhance athletic performance and minimize muscle loss. L-Arginine and L-Lysine specifically work together to promote the building, healing, and repair of muscle tissue.

Frequently Asked Questions

How Long Does It Take To Get An IV?

It depends on how much fluid you are receiving, the IV treatment you receive, the size of the catheter, and your body. Time ranges between 30-45 minutes to complete an IV infusion therapy. You will be in a relaxing environment and will enjoy your experience.

Do IV Infusion Treatments Hurt?

IV Infusion therapy is NOT painful. However, if you are scared of needles we offer a topical anesthetic to make the insertion process most comfortable. Once the IV drip is started, you may find the experience relaxing.

Who Is A Good Candidate for IV Infusion Therapy?

Typically, almost anyone in fairly good health is a candidate. We treat adults 18 years of age and older. Patients with certain medical conditions such as heart failure, chronic kidney disease, cirrhosis, are not good candidates. Medical history is taken prior to administering any treatments to ensure you are a good candidate for our specific IV therapies. Pregnant women can receive treatment but do not offer anti-nausea medications or other medications that could be harmful to the pregnancy.

How Do IV Infusion Therapies Work?

IV Infusions help replenish fluids, electrolytes, medications, and vitamins directly into the bloodstream to help you recover from dehydration, improve overall health, or treat a chronic condition. This is quicker and more effective than taking medicine orally.

Who Administers the IV Treatment?

All our IVs are started by licensed medical professionals such as a nurse, a PA, or a Physician. You will be in good hands during your visit.

What Are the Side-Effects of IV Treatments?

Although rare, there is a small risk of infection, bleeding, bruising, and slight pain. We do all we can to avoid these common side effects including proper prep, proper needle size, using trained professionals, using vein finders and medications to help reduce pain topically. We take a comprehensive history to reduce the chance of giving medications you may be allergic to. If an allergy does happen, we will take the proper steps to correct the problem. Receiving an IV treatment is safe when performed by a trained professional.

Where Can I Get the IV Treatment?

We offer services in our clinic located at 1330 N. Indian Canyon Dr. Suite D, Palm Springs, CA 92262.

Do You Offer Group Discounts?

Yes, we do! The more people you have in your group the larger of a discount you can receive.

How Often Can I Get IV Infusions?

Any of our IV Infusion Therapy treatments can be administered once or twice a week or once every two weeks. It’s up to you. It is virtually impossible to overdose on our IV Infusions. For chronic conditions, our physician will recommend a schedule according to your needs.

Which IV Infusion Is Best For Me?

Most of our treatments are carried out by our nurses who are trained in IV therapies. We will collaborate with you in finding the best treatment for your symptoms. A physician is available for special cases like chronic conditions if needed.

Do You Accept Insurance, FSA or HSA?

We do not accept private insurance, Medicare, or Medicaid. We offer IV Infusion services at a fraction of the cost compared to the ER and Urgent Care. However, we do accept FSA and HSA accounts for payment.
